Obama endorses Angie Nixon after cry for support to party leadership

Former President Barack Obama has endorsed Democratic candidates in Florida's Senate and gubernatorial races shortly before the midterm elections. Obama provided formal backing to Angie Nixon in her bid to unseat Sen. Ashley Moody, following Nixon's claims that perceptions of racism in Florida hindered Democratic efforts. Additionally, gubernatorial nominee David Jolly received Obama's support. Both Nixon and Jolly shared videos of the endorsement on the social platform X to boost their respective campaigns in the red state.
