Two women shot overnight in Garfield Ridge

Two women were hospitalized after being shot around midnight Sunday morning in the 5100 block of West 44th Street in Garfield Ridge. A 32-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to her left leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. A 38-year-old woman suffered a wound to her left arm and sought treatment at MacNeal Hospital. Both victims are listed in good condition. Area One Detectives are currently investigating the incident involving an unknown assailant.
