The Milwaukee Brewers are World Series Champions after defeating the Rays in five games. Manager Pat Murphy celebrated the victory with a World Champs newspaper. Consequently, all Milwaukee Public Schools and district offices will be closed on Friday, October 30, to accommodate a scheduled Brewers parade and rally. This closure includes all classes, before- or after-school activities, and Milwaukee Recreation programs, ensuring students and staff can participate in the citywide celebrations for the championship win.
