Broadcom pledges to lock down open source Python, Java libraries

Broadcom is launching TrueSource to curate and secure open-source components utilized within its Tanzu platform. This initiative focuses on providing clean and secure artifacts for Spring, RabbitMQ, and various libraries across Java, Python, and Node.js. Purnima Padmanabhan, vice president of Broadcom's Tanzu Division, stated that the company will choose and build every Spring library and database. Broadcom intends to provide TrueSource trusted artifacts for the wider Java ecosystem and other critical programming languages.
