Brooks Brothers creative director Michael Bastian recalls the events of September 11, 2001, specifically remembering his location that morning. The Brooks Brothers store situated at Manhattan's One Liberty Plaza suffered significant damage during the collapse of the Twin Towers. Due to the proximity of the location to the World Trade Center, the impact was severe. Bastian continues to be affected by the tragedy and finds it impossible to look at photographs from the event.
