Bruce Springsteen announced that his wife of 35 years, Patti Scialfa, is in remission after battling blood cancer for eight years. During a virtual appearance at the Pan-Mass Challenge fundraiser on August 1, the 76-year-old singer expressed gratitude toward the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for its research and treatment efforts. Scialfa, who also serves as a guitarist in the E Street Band, has been a central figure in Springsteen's life for several decades.
