Build an AI Call Router That Sends Callers to the Right Team

Traditional IVR systems force callers to navigate complex menus, causing frustration and delays. To solve this, a new AI call router was developed using Telnyx Call Control and Telnyx AI Inference. By utilizing the Telnyx Edge Runtime, the system eliminates the need for multiple fragmented APIs and reduces latency. This Python Flask application analyzes caller intent in real-time, allowing users to state their needs naturally and ensuring they are routed instantly to the correct department.
