Building KisanVani (किसान वाणी): An Ultra-Low-Latency Multilingual Voice Agent for Indian Agriculture with Murf Falcon & LiveKit

Participants in the VoiceForBharat challenge developed various ultra-low-latency AI voice agents over 10 days using Murf Falcon, LiveKit, and Deepgram. Projects include KisanVani for agriculture, Arogya Seva and ASHA for healthcare, FinSaathi and MoneyBuddy for financial services, and Suraksha Sathi for disaster response. Additionally, EdTech tools like Revora AI and Shiksha AI were created. These multilingual agents feature persistent memory, real-time tool integration, outbound telephony, and human escalation to assist non-tech-savvy populations across India.
