Tidewatch developed an agentic fraud investigator for the TigerGraph Hacker House Goa 2026 challenge. Analyzing 590,742 transactions, the team found traditional risk scores unreliable, as many innocent cases scored high while confirmed fraud often scored low. The system utilizes TigerGraph to gather data, applies specific rules for decision-making, and employs models for explanation. This approach ensures the agent can accurately clear false alarms and convict actual fraud, providing transparent evidence for analysts and regulators.
