Portland Fire forward to participate in WNBA 3-point contest

The WNBA announced the six-player field for the three-point contest at Wintrust Arena during All-Star weekend. Participants include Marina Mabrey of the Tempo, Rhyne Howard of the Dream, Azzi Fudd of the Wings, Bridget Carleton of the Fire, Natisha Hiedeman of the Storm, and Janelle Salaün of the Valkyries. The event begins Friday at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The opening night of festivities will also feature the new Shooting Stars competition, though its participants remain unannounced.
