Longmont man convicted on 19 counts of child sexual exploitation

Carl Cacconie, a 52-year-old man convicted of six counts of lewd acts with children under 14 in El Dorado County, was arrested on June 13 after remaining a fugitive for 10 months. District Attorney Vern Pierson announced the capture of the California man. Additionally, a separate legal case resulted in a Longmont man being convicted on 19 counts of child sexual exploitation, as authorities continue to prosecute crimes involving the exploitation of minors.
