Mattapan carjacking suspect pleads not guilty in deadly crash

Ibraim Matos pleaded not guilty to charges involving a carjacking and a fatal crash that resulted in the death of Mabinty Janneh, remaining held without bail. Separately, comedian Carlos Mencia entered a not guilty plea on Monday regarding twelve felony tax fraud charges. These legal proceedings stem from allegations that Mencia failed to report approximately $8.7 million in income. Both individuals are currently facing serious legal consequences in their respective criminal court cases.
