Japan IP Market to Return to Cannes in 2027 as Tokyo Partnership Continues

The Japan IP Market will return to Cannes from May 14-15, 2027, for a second consecutive year. This event is a collaboration between the Cannes Marché du Film and TIFFCOM, the content market of the Tokyo International Film Festival. The announcement took place during a TIFFCOM seminar in Tokyo titled ‘Beyond Country of Honour: Building the Next Global Partnerships with Japan’, which featured Alexandra Zakharchenko to confirm the ongoing partnership between the two major film markets.
