Lewiston man pleads guilty in 4-year-old’s self-inflicted gunshot death

The Schenectady County District Attorney's Office announced that 25-year-old Julio Duran pleaded guilty on July 30 regarding a firearm case. Separately, Robert McCoy pleaded guilty on Monday to charges of manslaughter and child endangerment. These charges stem from the May 2025 death of his stepson, a 4-year-old child who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
