Cardinals elevate Bill DeWitt III and Anuk Karunaratne to most prominent leadership roles

The St. Louis Cardinals announced a leadership transition elevating President Bill DeWitt III to Chief Executive Officer. In this new role, Bill DeWitt III will oversee both business and baseball operations for the club. Simultaneously, Anuk Karunaratne has been moved into a prominent leadership position. Principal owner Bill DeWitt Jr. will step back from the CEO responsibilities but will continue to serve as the chairman of the organization following these strategic structural changes.
