‘DWTS’ Pro Val Chmerkovskiy Apologizes to Carrie Ann Inaba for “Careless” Will Smith Oscars Slap Reference: “I Will Do Better”

DWTS professional Val Chmerkovskiy apologized to judge Carrie Ann Inaba following a careless reference to Will Smith's Oscars slap. Chmerkovskiy posted that the Fresh Prince almost entered the ballroom, prompting Inaba to respond by questioning the nature of the comment. Taking full responsibility for his actions, the dancer stated he will do better. This public apology follows the tension created by the social media exchange between the professional dancer and the Dancing With the Stars judge.
