Val Chmerkovskiy addresses ‘chaos’ of suspension in ‘Dancing With the Stars’ return

Val Chmerkovskiy returned to the ballroom during Tuesday night's Horror Movie Night episode of Dancing With the Stars. His appearance followed a one-week suspension triggered by a controversial reference to Will Smith’s Oscars slap. This comment occurred while Chmerkovskiy was critiquing Carrie Ann Inaba’s judging of his wife, Jenna Johnson. The episode addressed the chaos surrounding his hiatus as he rejoined the show, marking his first appearance since the disciplinary action was implemented by the production.
