Cavs trade for Denver Nuggets forward Peyton Watson

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired forward Peyton Watson from the Denver Nuggets through a three-team trade. As part of the deal, the Cavaliers sent Max Strus to the Los Angeles Clippers. To complete the transaction, the Sacramento Kings provided a 2031 first-round pick and a 2032 second-round pick to Denver. Watson, previously a restricted free agent, joins Cleveland, while the Clippers add the sharpshooting capabilities of Strus to their current small forward rotation.
