ChatGPT Can Peek At Your Chrome Tabs Now

OpenAI updated its ChatGPT Chrome extension, allowing the AI to access information from open browser tabs. The updated sidebar provides full conversation history for Chat or Work without leaving the page. Additionally, ChatGPT Work can now control Chrome tabs to send messages, fill out forms, download files, and organize or group tabs. This deeper integration mirrors Google's Gemini-powered auto browse feature, granting the AI assistant direct control over the user's browser environment for increased efficiency.
