Chicago State builds its inaugural Division I football program behind a whole lot of energy — and ambition

Chicago State is establishing its first Division I football program, driven by significant energy and ambition. The football players, wearing green and white jerseys, conduct their practices on a turf field situated in the outfield of the Cougars baseball stadium. The team's development is taking place under the leadership of Chicago State President Zaldwaynaka, as the university works to build the foundation for its inaugural entry into competitive collegiate football at the Division I level.
