China just caught a rocket in a net, and SpaceX should be watching

China has achieved a historic milestone by recovering the first stage of a Long March-10B orbital rocket for the first time. Utilizing a giant net for the recovery, the state-owned China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) successfully executed a controlled descent. This achievement places China in an exclusive group with only two other members, directly challenging the long-standing monopoly held by American commercial aerospace entities such as SpaceX and Blue Origin in rocket recovery technology.
