Chris Hansen Says He Refused to ‘Sign His Life Away’ to Preview Robert Pattinson’s ‘Primetime,’ So A24 Wouldn’t Screen It for Him

Veteran journalist Chris Hansen was unable to watch the A24 film Primetime, where Robert Pattinson portrays him. Hansen visited the indie distributor's offices to view the Lance Oppenheim production before its Venice Film Festival debut. However, he left without seeing the movie because he refused to sign a contract that he believed would force him to sign his life away. Consequently, A24 withheld the screening after Hansen declined to sign away his rights during the visit.
