Spyware vendors found a way to make targeted ads even worse

Citizen Lab confirmed the delivery of zero-click spyware, which requires no user interaction to compromise devices, specifically affecting Al Jazeera. Despite previously holding Google's seal of approval, the ad vendor has been banned by Google following these discoveries. This method allowed spyware vendors to enhance their targeting capabilities, making the infection process more efficient and dangerous for the targeted users.
