Civil Rights Letter to the House Democratic AI Commission

A coalition of over 240 national civil and human rights organizations, including CDT, has urged the House Democratic Commission on AI to establish civil rights protections as the foundation for comprehensive AI legislation. Separately, Greystar, the largest US landlord, faces civil rights complaints in six states and Washington DC. These complaints allege 114 violations of fair housing laws, specifically accusing the company of systematically refusing tenants who utilize federal housing choice vouchers, also known as Section 8.
