Anthropic has introduced Claude Cowork, an autonomous AI agent designed for everyday office tasks on macOS. Simultaneously, the company launched Claude Opus 5, which delivers significant improvements in coding. According to Anthropic, Claude Opus 5 achieves performance levels close to Fable 5 in specific tests while maintaining the same API pricing as Opus 4.8. These developments aim to enhance productivity through specialized AI agents and high-performance models for complex technical tasks.
