‘Coach’ Single-Cam Reboot With Ty Burrell In Works At NBC From ‘Mr. Throwback’ Duo

NBC is developing a 2020s single-camera reboot of the 1989 ABC sitcom Coach. Modern Family alum Ty Burrell is set to co-write and executive produce the project, with the intention to star in the series. Burrell will collaborate with the Mr. Throwback duo, Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman, who are also serving as executive producers. This new iteration transforms the original multi-camera format into a single-camera approach for the modern television landscape at NBC.
