Sliding Colts trade All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson to Seahawks for draft picks

The Indianapolis Colts traded All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks for third-round and fifth-round draft picks. This transaction follows the recent firing of GM Ballard. Although three other teams expressed interest in the eight-time Pro Bowl selection, the Seahawks secured the deal. Consequently, the San Francisco 49ers are expected to respond to this move. The trade was reported by the Associated Press via a source, though neither team has officially announced the deal yet.
