Jon Stewart to Remain ‘Daily Show’ Host Through 2028

Jon Stewart has extended his contract with Comedy Central to remain the host of The Daily Show through December 2028. The 63-year-old comedian, who also serves as executive producer, will continue his once-a-week hosting duties on Mondays through the next presidential election. This extension moves his previous contract end date from 2026 to 2028. While Stewart leads the program on Mondays, a rotating lineup of various comics and TV personalities host the show on other nights.
