More Than 30 Minnesota Water Systems Targeted In Cyberattack

Minnesota IT Services reports a coordinated cyberattack affecting more than 30 community water systems from July 26 to 27. Impacted cities including Plymouth, South St. Paul, Maple Plain, and Braham reported limited effects, with residents advised to maintain normal water use. The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed no water usage alterations were required. While officials have not officially named a culprit, the Iran-linked group CyberAv3ngers is suspected of orchestrating the disruptions across these facilities.
