China’s CXMT shares rise as new DRAM platform enters mass production

CXMT announced the mass production of its fifth-generation DRAM technology platform, the G5 Platform, during the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention in Hefei on September 20. This platform utilizes quadruple patterning to reach an 11.95-nanometer active-area half-pitch for memory arrays. Alongside this breakthrough, CXMT unveiled a new LPDDR5X product lineup based on the G5 Platform. Following these developments, CXMT shares rose as the company claims a significant production breakthrough in the memory-maker sector.
