Dan Lin Out as Netflix Film Chief

Netflix has dismissed Dan Lin as head of film after nearly three years. This exit follows a massive layoff of approximately 1,000 employees and the shock firing of chief content officer Bela Bajaria. Lin's tenure ends as the streamer appoints former Disney/Fox executive Peter Rice as the new chief content officer. The departure is a significant development following a period of substantial workforce reductions and leadership changes within the streaming platform's content division.
