Dan Trachtenberg Developing Original Pic Inspired By ‘Sleeping Beauty’ At Disney

Dan Trachtenberg, the director of Prey, is partnering with Disney to develop an original movie inspired by the classic Sleeping Beauty story. This untitled project is currently in its early stages of development. The script for the film is being written by Alex Anfanger and Dan Schimpf. This collaboration follows Trachtenberg's successful work with the Predator franchise at 20th Century, as he now brings a fresh spin to a traditional Disney property for the studio.
