Dan Trachtenberg To Direct Comedy-Horror Based on Yehudi Mercado’s ‘Freddy The 13th’ For Paramount Animation – Annecy

Paramount Animation announced an untitled animated comedy horror directed by Dan Trachtenberg, based on the graphic novel Freddy the 13th by Yehudi Mercado. The story focuses on an uncle suffering from a deadly curse. This project follows a three-year producing and directing first-look deal between Trachtenberg, known for Predator: Badlands and 10 Cloverfield Lane, and Paramount Pictures. The announcement was made during Annecy, marking a new collaboration between the director and the animation division.
