State officials completed the final push to deliver ranked-choice runoff results on Thursday night, with outcomes expected around 11:15 p.m. for the gubernatorial primaries and the Democratic primary for the 2nd Congressional District. Hannah Pingree won the ranked-choice runoff in the Democratic primary for governor. She will now compete against Republican nominee Bobby Charles and independent Rick Bennett in November to succeed Gov. Janet Mills in the general election for the governorship.
