Shouts of “He Should Be Shot” Heard as Ted Cruz Lists Democrats

During a Republican midterm convention speech, Senator Ted Cruz ignored an audience member shouting that Democratic politicians should be shot. The attendee targeted New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and Texas Senate candidate James Talarico while Cruz continued his presentation. In response to the remarks, Abdul El-Sayed stated that he is a father of two daughters and expressed his hope that they get to grow up and live with their father.
