Democrats ride anti-Trump wave to win control of Congress

The Democratic Party has captured both chambers of Congress, securing full control following a significant blue wave. This victory saw Democrats push deep into traditionally GOP territory, flipping various states and districts previously won by President Donald Trump. To celebrate these election results, the Democratic Party hosted a watch party in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 03, 2026, marking a successful effort to ride an anti-Trump wave to legislative dominance across the United States.
