Denmark Leads Group of EU Nations Committing to Migrant Return Hubs by Next Year

Denmark and four other European Union nations have agreed on a model to establish migrant return hubs located in non-EU countries. According to an official, the participating nations aim to begin transferring migrants to these facilities as early as 2027. Bart van den Brink, the Netherlands' minister of asylum and migration, described the initiative as groundbreaking and a new approach to migration management. The group is committing to these external facilities to facilitate the return of migrants.
