Deutsche Bank, the 156-year-old German banking giant, plans to launch crypto custody services for institutional clients by later in 2026. The institution, which manages $2.217 trillion in AUM across its Asset Management and Private Bank divisions, will safeguard Bitcoin, Ethereum, and specific stablecoins. The bank is currently preparing the necessary infrastructure to manage crypto transfers, private keys, and digital wallets, bringing professional digital asset safeguarding to Europe's institutional financial sector.
