Doha Film Festival Unveils 2026 Jury Headed By Naomi Kawase

Japanese director Naomi Kawase will head the main international competition jury for the second edition of the Doha Film Festival, running November 19-27. Kawase, who has mentored emerging filmmakers through the Doha Film Institute Qumra program, will lead a diverse panel. The jury includes French Tunisian actor Adam Bessa, Tunisian producer Dora Bouchoucha, Italian documentary filmmaker Gianfranco Rosi, and an award-winning Palestinian filmmaker and artist to determine the winners of the prestigious Qatari event.
