You’ll soon be able to order DoorDash by text message

DoorDash is introducing new platform capabilities, including drone deliveries, retail returns, and a text message ordering feature. This new functionality allows users to order meals directly through Apple Messages, powered by AI. The system builds upon the Ask DoorDash AI chatbot launched in June, enabling customers to receive recommendations and handle browsing without using the main app. These updates aim to streamline the local delivery experience by integrating ordering directly into messaging interfaces.
