DraftFM is a new FoundationModel designed for day-zero drafting in Magic: The Gathering. It operates in a regime where card lists are public but draft logs are unavailable. As a discrete-choice policy, DraftFM scores available cards based on the current pool and draft state. Each card is processed as a frozen 775-dimensional function of public records, structured features, and text embeddings. This approach ensures unseen cards are scored without relying on card identities or usage statistics.
