DreamWorks Remote Workers Ratify First Union Agreement With the Animation Guild

Remote workers at DreamWorks Animation have ratified their first collective bargaining agreement with The Animation Guild. On August 21, 97 percent of participants voted in favor of the contract, with 90 out of 108 eligible voters casting ballots. This represents a voter turnout of 83.3 percent. The newly approved deal establishes minimum wage rates and provides essential retirement and health benefits for the remote animation artists and technicians working on the studio's various projects.
