Ed Markey wins Senate seat in Massachusetts

Decision Desk HQ projects that Sen. Ed Markey has won his reelection campaign in Massachusetts, defeating Republican John Deaton to secure a third term after thirteen years. Simultaneously, Democrat Dan Koh is projected to win the Massachusetts 6th District House seat previously held by Rep. Seth Moulton. Koh, a former Biden White House official, defeated Republican Micah Jones. These results reinforce Democratic presence in the solid blue state across both the Senate and House chambers.
