According to Bloomberg, staff were instructed to eliminate handwritten code and utilize full AI workflows for all art production to complete the project following delays. This shift follows Epic Games' previous integration of generative AI features into Unreal Engine and plans for AI-driven Fortnite characters, which previously led to Poncle withdrawing from a collaboration.
