Epic’s new games launcher is ‘vibe coded’

Epic Games has announced a preview refresh of its PC games launcher, representing a total rebuild of the EGS client. The company states the new version is way faster than Steam and now supports Linux. Epic Games, which is currently pushing into AI-assisted development, noted that the refresh was vibe coded because programming is hard.
