Former Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa accused of posing as mother, fictional woman in $2.2M fraud case

Former college basketball player Kerr Kriisa has been indicted by a federal grand jury in West Virginia for his alleged involvement in a $2.2 million fraud scheme. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Kriisa is charged with five counts of wire fraud occurring from 2022 through June 2, 2026. He reportedly posed as his mother and another fictional woman to defraud two victims. The case was unsealed following his recent arrest in Kentucky.
