HP names Emma Walmsley as CEO

HP Inc. announced that its Board of Directors unanimously appointed Emma Walmsley as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 4, 2027. Walmsley, previously the CEO of GSK and a Microsoft Board member for seven years, succeeds Bruce Broussard. Broussard, who has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since February 2026, will transition to Chair of the Board on January 4, 2027, succeeding Chip Bergh. The company aims to leverage Walmsley's leadership to build on its innovation heritage.
