Family of slain teen calls for death penalty in murder trial of singer D4vd

The family of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez is demanding the death penalty for singer D4vd, born David Anthony Burke. Burke is currently on trial after the dismembered body of Rivas was discovered in the trunk of his Tesla car on 8 September 2025. While the prosecution pursues the case, Burke has pleaded not guilty. His defense team argues that there is no evidence proving he had any intent to kill the teenager during the incident.
