Popular raisin company condemns heir's alleged antisemitic remarks

Lion Raisins, a family-owned company based in Fresno County, has publicly denounced the alleged antisemitic and racist conduct of heir Bruce Lion. The 64-year-old scion was recently arrested in Pacific Palisades on suspicion of making criminal threats and repeated verbal attacks against Jewish neighbors. In a statement released Wednesday, the company distanced itself from Bruce Lion, asserting that his reported behavior does not reflect the values or standards of the California raisin business.
