US measles cases reach 35-year high

The United States is experiencing a significant surge in infectious diseases. Johns Hopkins University reports that measles cases have reached a 35-year high, with 2,295 recorded instances surpassing the previous year's total. Simultaneously, the CDC has confirmed the largest cyclosporiasis outbreak on record. Since May 1, 4,173 cases of cyclosporiasis have been identified across numerous states, including over 2,500 additional confirmed infections, marking a historic peak for this specific parasitic infection nationwide.
